Mother*Maria van Madagascar b. c 1670; I have assumed this to be the correct mother/daughter relationship. Maria was baptised in 1695, perhaps in anticipation of her manumission, which would account for her daughter being baptised as a free person. Corrections welcome1

BaptismJannetie van de Caep was baptized on 25 December 1701 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town). The baptism was witnessed by Paul Heyns and Maria Losëe.2
