Birth*Lijdia van Baalen was born circa 1687.1
Marriage*She married Adolph Joan van der Laan, son of Gerrit van der Laan and Baroness of Wassenhooven Francoisa de Zeegers, circa 1708. This marriage is assumed. When the couple baptise a child in 1710, there is no indication the child is born out of wedlock.1

Baptisms - WitnessLijdia van Baalen and Louis van Assenburgh witnessed the baptism of Louis Jansz on 9 March 1710 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town). She may have been related to Adolph Joan van der Laan.2
