ShipVoyage* | On 23 December 1680 the Blauwe Hulk departed Batavia enroute to the Cape where it arrived on 30 April 1681. Among those on board were the politically exiled Macassarese prince Dain Majampa Singara and Rervat van Macassar a knecht of the deceased Carre Roepa. There is a note attached to the record of Daim Manjampa which may perhaps have named Octavius van Macassar as Ostagisch. Also exiled in this group were Jacob van Macassar, Fransiscus van Malabar, Soeta Wanga NN and Wira van Java.3,4 |
