Slave EmancipationsOn 22 November 1692 Hannibal van Macassar was emancipated by Gerrit Victor, following 13 years of faithful service but on condition he work for Victor for a further 3 years. I have assumed this to be the same individual who married Sara van Macassar in 1705.37
On 22 November 1692 Jannetje van Malabar was emancipated together with her 2-year-old daughter Rebecca van de Caep by Gerrit Victor. However she had to serve Victor for three more years.38
