Jacob was from the Malabar Coast and was perhaps born there in 1673/74. He was said to be 18 or 19 years old in 1692.¹

Slave Transactions

On 14 May 1692 Jacob van Malabar was sold by Theophilus Benedictus to Hendrik Barent Oldenlandt, for Rds. 50.²
