BirthOrigin*Mariqua was from Malabar Coast and was perhaps born there between 1679 and 1681. She was said to be 10 to 12 years old in 1691.1 
Slave TransactionsOn 15 June 1691 Mariqua van Malabar was sold by Gerrit Cornelisz: Kriek to Cornelis Jansz Simons, for Rds. 30.2
