BirthOrigin*Diana was from Cochin, Kerala, India, and was perhaps born there circa 1690. She was said to be 14-years-old in 1704.1
BaptismSlave On 20 June 1706 Diana van Cochin was baptized Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town), I have assumed this to be the correct baptism for Diana van Cochin, purchased by Willem Adriaan van der Stel. in 1704. Corrections gratefully received.2
Slave TransactionsOn 7 May 1704 Diana van Cochin was sold by an unknown person to Willem Adriaan van der Stel de Caep de Goede Hoop.3
