Slave Births

Circa 1674, Magdalena van de Caep was born in bondage and was owned by Wouter Mostert de Caep de Goede Hoop.¹

Slave Transactions

Magdalena van de Caep became a slave of Tobias Vlasvath, when he bought her, her mother Cathrijn van Bengale, and her sister Marta Manuels from Hester Weijers on 23 December 1677. For Rds. 80.^2,3
