Residence*Bastiaen Adriaensz O 't Dorp lived before 24 May 1635 Charlois.6 
Asylum* On 24 May 1635, having fled Charlois to avoid prosecution for manslaughter Bastiaen Adriaensz O 't Dorp was granted asylum at Culemborg, which at the time was a place of refuge for those fleeing 'persecution'. It is probable he was accompanied or joined by his wife, Sebastiaentgen van Gaesbeeck.7 
Ledemaat*On 3 July 1637, Sebastiaentgen van Gaesbeeck was admitted as a congregant of the Dutch Reformed Church Charlois, have brought with her an attestation from the church at Columborg in which in was stipluated that she was a member in good standing. It is unclear whether Bastiaen Adriaensz O 't Dorp had returned with her to Charlois, although he must have returned to Patria sometime before 1652 when the family emigrated to the Cape.8
