Occupation* On 16 April 1688 Jan Bitter was the skipper of the Courtgene.2 
Slave TransactionsOn 16 April 1688 Aaron van der Kust Coromandel was sold by Jan Bitter to Guillaume Heems, for Rds. 65 on condition that Aaron not be returned to Batavia.3
On 16 April 1688 Abraham van Malabar was sold by Jan Bitter to Hendrick Cornelis, for Rds. 50.2
