Theange was from Madagascar and perhaps born there in 1663/64.¹

On 4 March 1687 Theange van Madagascar was sold by Sibrand de Fraij to Jan Dircks de Beer, for Rds. 40.²
On 4 August 1688 Theange van Madagascar was sold by Jan Dircksen de Beer to Matthys Michiels van Stockholm, for Rds. 75.³
