BaptismCornelia van de Caep was baptized on 2 October 1707 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town). The baptism was witnessed by Leonora van Madagascar and Hendrik Constant van Macasser. This witness has not been positively identified but Hendrik Constant van Macasser is(are) potentially the correct individual(s.)1 
Slave BirthsBefore 2 October 1707, Cornelia van de Caep was born in bondage and was owned by Simon van der Stel.1
