Valentijn van Madagascar1
M, #15149, b. circa 1666
|BirthOrigin*||Valentijn was from Madagascar and perhaps born there circa 1666.1|
|Slave Transactions||On 27 December 1686 Valentijn van Madagascar was sold by Jacobus Broeg to Theunis Dircksen Schalckwyck, for Rds. 42.2|
On 5 December 1689 Valentijn van Madagascar was sold by Theunis Dircksen Schalckwyck to Joost Strydom, although Van Schalkwijck bought two slaves named Valentijn van Madagascar in 1686, I have assumed this to be the correct individual for this transaction because he fits the age profile.3
