Slave TransactionsJan van Madagascar and Cornelis van Madagascar were sold by Arijaen van Asperen, to Joannes Valckenryck on 8 March 1677 de Caep de Goede Hoop, for Rds. 87.1,3
On 15 June 1680 Jan van Madagascar was sold by Heltjen Redogs to Jan Wittebol, for Rds. 32. I assume this to be the same slave purchased by her (now deceased) husband in 1677.4
