BirthOrigin*Jan was from Thoothukudi known then as Tuticorin. He was perhaps born there circa 1663. He was said to be 12 years old when sold as a slave in 1675.1 
Slave TransactionsMichiel van Paleacatte and Jan Tuticorin were sold by Reijnier Claassen, to Jeronimus Cruse on 21 April 1675, for Rds 70.2,3
