BaptismPieter van de Caep was baptized on 10 March 1709 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town). The baptism was witnessed by Moses van Macassar and Sara van Macassar.1 
Slave BirthsBefore 10 March 1709, Pieter van de Caep was born in bondage and was owned by Hermen Buys.1
