BirthOrigin*Arent was from Madagascar and perhaps born there circa 1670. I have assumed all the slaves sold by William Deeron in January 1684 were from Madagascar and similarly arbitrarily estimated their dates of birth - based on the purchase price.3 
Names in the record, in publications, etc.21 January 1684, the name of Arent was written in the record as Unnamed and Gender Unspecified Slave van Madagascar.3
Slave TransactionsOn 21 January 1684 Arent van Madagascar was sold by William Deeron to Theunis Dirks van Schalkwijk, for Rds. 53.4
On 14 November 1691 Arent van Madagascar was sold by Theunis Dircksen van Schalckwyck to Gerrit Janse van Deventer and Michiel Niemand, for f 400. The amount of f 200 was to be paid on 1.1.1693.2
