Claas was f rom Malabar Coast and was perhaps born there in 1670/71. He was said to be 21 or 22 years old in 1692.¹

Slave Transactions

On 18 June 1692 Claas van Malabar was sold by Wessel Jansz Koese to Jan Holtsmit, for Rds. 80, Rds. 50 to be paid immediately and the balance in 1693.²
