BirthOrigin*Sara was from the Malabar Coast and was perhaps born there in 1676/77. She was said to be 16 or 17 years old in 1693.1 
Slave TransactionsOn 28 May 1693 Sara van Malabar and Lijsje van Bengale were sold by Jan de Wit to Cornelis Jansz Simons, for Rds. 30 and Rds. 50 respectively.2
