Anthonij was from the Tranquebar and was perhaps born there circa 1677. He was said to be 18 years old in 1694.¹

Slave Transactions

On 18 January 1695 Anthonij van Tranquebar and Helene van Tranquebar were sold by Frans Meyer to Simon van der Stel, for Rds. 60 each.²
