Birth*Jan Fortman was born before 26 March 1747 in de Caep de Goede Hoop, he may have been one of the witnesses to the baptism of his brother in 1750, suggesting he was born much before his own baptism in 1747.1
BaptismJan Fortman was baptized on 26 March 1747 Nederduitser Gereformeerde Kerk, Tulbagh, de Caep de Goede Hoop. I have not yet identified the witness to this baptism.2
