Dorothea was from Bengal and was perhaps born there circa 1679. She was said to be 20 years old in 1699.¹

Slave Transactions

On 21 May 1699 Dorothea van Bengale was sold on behalf of Margareta Swanenburg by Jan Dircks de Beer to Jacob Krebs, for Rds. 45.²
On 15 July 1699 Dorothea van Bengale was sold by Jacob Krebs to Jan Willemse Vermeulen, for rds. 40.³
