Apollo was from Madras and was perhaps born there in 1683/84. He was said to be 16 or 17 years old in 1700.¹

On 12 July 1700 Apollo van Madras was sold by Cornelis Barentsz to Maarten van Mechlenburgh, for Rds. 70.²
