BirthOrigin*Gerrit was from Amsterdam and may have been born there circa 1630. His age is estimated.1 
Death*He died in 1658 de Caep de Goede Hoop, he was said to have been employed by the Chamber of Amsterdam and that he arrived in the Princesse Royale in 1656.2
 
(Passenger) ShipVoyage On 31 May 1656 the Prinses Royael departed Vlie enroute to de Caep de Goede Hoop where it docked on 21st September 1656. Among those on board were Jannetje Boddis, Christina Does and Gerrit Jansz: Ralandt.3,4,5
