BirthOrigin*Pieter was from Mörs and was perhaps born there circa 1630. I have assumed that Staedt Moere is Moers.1 
Vrijbriewen and Burgher StatusOn 8 November 1658, Pieter Jongh was granted a vrijbrief or letter of freedom which released him from his contractual obligations to the VOC and accorded him the status of vrijburgher or free burgher. He was recorded as a sailor on the West Vrieslant.2
