BaptismElisabeth van der Caep was baptized on 25 December 1701 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town). The baptism was witnessed by Octavius van Macassar and Elizabeth van Bouton.1 
Slave BirthsBefore 25 December 1701, Elisabeth van der Caep was born in bondage and was owned by Simon van der Stel.1
