Birth*Dirk Korver was born circa 1660.1

(Master) ShipVoyage On 9 February 1705 the Oegstgeest departed Batavia enroute to de Caep de Goede Hoop where it docked on 11 May 1705. Among those on board were the skipper Dirk Korver, and Jan de Wit, sailing as crew. De Wit remained at the Cape; Korver may be the same individual who visited the Cape as an opperstuurman on the Horstendaal in 1702; and as skipper of the Koning Karel de Derde in 1708.1
