Maria Lens was born before 5 April 1705 in de Caep de Goede Hoop.¹

Baptism

Maria Lens was baptized on 5 April 1705 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town). The baptism was witnessed by Barbara de Jong and Jacob Paasen.²

Death*

She died before 23 February 1713, when her mother's estate was inventoried and she was not named as a beneficiary. This was the period of the smallpox epidemic.³
