BaptismAntonij van de Caep was baptized on 24 August 1704 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town). The baptism was witnessed by Joost Ventura, Sara van Macassar and Sara van Macassar. This witness has not been positively identified but Sara van Macassar and Sara van Macassar is(are) potentially the correct individual(s.)2 
Slave BirthsBefore 24 August 1704, Antonij van de Caep was born in bondage and was owned by Willem ten Damme de Caep de Goede Hoop.1
