BaptismSlave* On 28 November 1706 Zovia van de Caep was baptized Nederduitsch Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town). This witness has not been positively identified but Abraham van Macasker and Cicilia NN is(are) potentially the correct individual(s.)2
Slave BirthsBefore 28 November 1706, Zovia van de Caep was born in bondage and was owned by Johan Mijndertze Kruijwagen de Caep de Goede Hoop, I have assumed Zovia's mother to be the same individual bought by Johan M Kruijwagen in 1701.1
