BaptismLeonora van de Caep was baptized on 6 January 1709 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town). The baptism was witnessed by Maria van Bengale and Fredrik Jansz.2 
Slave BirthsBefore 6 January 1709, Leonora van de Caep was born in bondage and was owned by Steven Vermey de Caep de Goede Hoop.1
