Slave Birth - Company OwnedJan van de Caep van Calmeronde was born in bondage circa 1689 and was owned by the VOC (Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie), he was said to be 36-years-old when he died in 1725 Jan van de Caep van Calmeronde.1
