Marriage*He married Annetje Zachariasz on 22 April 1674 Nederduitsch Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town), de Caep de Goede Hoop.1
 
Slave TransactionsOn 8 July 1676 Claas Caste was sold by Joan Bax van Herentals to Alexander Blanck.2
On 16 August 1677 Lijsbeth van Madagascar was sold by Simon Semens to Alexander Blanck, for Rds. 13. At this price I assume she was very young.3,4
Slave EmancipationsOn 10 May 1696 Claas Caste was emancipated by Alexander Blanck, according to Shell, this was a testamentory emancipation. He does not again appear in the record.5,6
