Pierre Simond in 1702 as predikant van Drakenstein op. In 1704 word hy predikant van Stellenbosch, en in 1726 van die Kaapse gemeente. In 1731 tree hy uit die bediening. Hy is op 13.2.1707 op Stellenbosch deur ds. Petrus Kalden met Johanna Constantia Elsevier in die eg verbind. Ds. Beck is in Junie 1755 oorlede."
