Pieter was from Malabar Coast and was perhaps born there in 1672/73. He was said to be 18 or 19 years old in 1691.¹

Slave Transactions

On 11 June 1691 Pieter van Malabar, Maria van Malabar and Antonique van Malabar were sold by Gillis Brouwer to Hans Hendrik Smit, for Rds. 190.²
On 20 June 1691 Pieter van Malabar was sold by Hans Hendrik Smith to Ernst Friedrich Walter, for Rds. 90.³
