Christiaan was from the Coromandel Coast and perhaps born there in 1676/77. He was said to be 10 or 11 years old in 1687.¹

Slave Transactions

On 4 February 1687 Christiaan van der Kust Coromandel was sold by Pieter Doen to Jan Dircks de Beer, for Rds. 30.²
On 27 October 1700 Christiaan van der Kust Coromandel and Coridon van de Kust Coromandel were sold by Jan Dircks de Beer to Pierre Jourdan, for Rds. 100 each.³
