BirthOrigin*Arent was probably from Madagascar and perhaps born there in 1664/65. I have assumed all the slaves sold by William Deeron in January 1684 were from Madagascar and that this individual is the same slave purchased by Hüsing in 1684 and exchanged by him for wood in 1689.3
Names in the record, in publications, etc.21 January 1684, the name of Arent was written in the record as Unnamed and Gender Unspecified Slave van Madagascar.3
Slave TransactionsOn 21 January 1684 Arent van Madagascar was sold by William Deeron to Henningh Hùijsing, for Rds. 70.4
On 12 October 1689 Arent van Madagascar was sold by Henning Hüsing to Fredrick Russouw de Wit, for one hundred wagon-loads of wood.2
