BirthOrigin*Cupido was from Madagascar and was perhaps born there circa 1683. He was said to be 13 years old in 1696.1 
Slave TransactionsOn 8 February 1696 Juna van Madagascar, Mary van Madagascar, Pieter van Madagascar, Cupido van Madagascar, Claas van Madagascar, Paulus van Madagascar and Valentijn van Madagascar were sold by Richard Glover to Jan Dircks de Beer, respectively for Rds. 80, Rds. 80, Rds. 80, Rds. 80, Rds. 85, Rds. 80 and Rds. 60.2
On 11 February 1696 Cupido van Madagascar was sold by Jan Dircksen de Beer to Andreas Peters, for Rds. 90.3
