BirthOrigin*Gerrit was from the Malabar Coast and may have been born there circa 1666. He was said to be 30 years old in 1696.1 
Marriage De facto* Circa 1705 Gerrit van Malabar and Eva van Madagascar were in a de facto relationship. This relationship is assumed based on the baptism of an infant with parents thus named on 31 January 1706.2
