BirthOrigin*Frans was from the Malabar Coast and was perhaps born there in 1674/75. He was said to be 22 or 23 years old 1697.1 
Slave TransactionsOn 11 May 1697 Frans van Malabar and Candas van Pattana were sold by Pieter van Helsdingen to Albert Coopman, for Rds. 130.2
