Titus was from Madagascar and was perhaps born there circa 1687. He was said to be 13 years old in 1700.¹

Between 11 January 1700 and 18 January 1700 Titus van Madagascar was gifted by the unnamed English captain of the Wijngaert Pink to Pieter Pieterse de Groot.²
