Hitsana was from Madagascar and was perhaps born there circa 1680. He was said to be 20 years old in 1700.¹

On 18 January 1700 Hitsana Tancoba van Madagascar was sold by Heribert Dompselaar to Bastiaen Jansen Colyn, for Rds. 60.²
