Mother-Candidate*Maria van de Cust b. bt 1682 - 1688; I have assumed the mother to be the same woman sold to Simon van der Stel in 1696 simply as Maria without provenance. She fits the age profile, and I have not yet identified any other slave named Maria and owned by Simon van der Stel at the time1

BaptismAnna Lucretia van de Caep was baptized on 8 March 1705 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town). The baptism was witnessed by Hendrik Constant van Macasser and Christina van de Caep. This witness has not been positively identified but Christina van de Caep is(are) potentially the correct individual(s.)1 
Slave BirthsBefore 8 March 1705, Anna Lucretia van de Caep was born in bondage and was owned by Simon van der Stel.1
