BaptismLeonora van de Caep was baptized on 25 October 1711 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town). The baptism was witnessed by Jannetje Rutgertrost and Floris van Batavia.2 
Slave BirthsBefore 25 October 1711, Leonora van de Caep was born in bondage and was owned by Willem ten Damme de Caep de Goede Hoop.1
