1678 Jan Coenraad Visser and Grietje Gerrits were enumerated on the opgaafrol (census/tax roll) (Cape Town) as one man along with a wife, three sons (?) and three daughters. By this time Grof had custody of the two illegitimate children [Cornelis Ockers and Dina Olivier] of his eldest daughter Maria. Presumably these included Coenraad Janse Visser, Johannes Visser, Cornelis Ockers and Dina Olivier.37
In 1679 Grietje Gerrits and Jan Coenraad Visser appeared on the muster roll (Cape Town). The two sons, and daughter enumerated with them may have been Zacharia Jansz Visser, Coenraad Jans Visser and Johannes Visser.38
