Slave TransactionsOn 10 June 1686 Lelava van Mozambique was sold by Tobias Marquaert to Roelof Pasman, for Rds. 95. The debt was to be paid by 1 March 1687.15
On 6 March 1687 Catrina van Malabar and Maria van de Caep were sold by Abraham Hartogh to Roelif Pasman, for Rds. 53. The infant Maria in this transaction fits the age profile to be the same child purchased six months prior by Hartogh, along with her mother Catrina van Malabar, but named Ursula in that transaction.16
