Birth*Hans Carelse van den Burgh was born circa 1670.1
Marriage*He married Engeltje Cornelisse van der Bout on 9 November 1719 Nederduitsch Gereformeerde Kerk, Stellenbosch, de Caep de Goede Hoop.2,1

Engeltje Cornelisse van der Bout b. c 1673
Duplicate?*It is possible that Hans Carelse van den Burgh and Hans Hennsz are the same individual. I think there is the possibility of a scribal error in this marriage record and that the scribe should have written Hans Carelse. In my view, it is possible Henske and van der Burg(h) are not same individual.

In the reocrds I have consulted thus far, aside from that marriage Henske was always Henske (variants) - and Hans Carel(se) never used Henske on any other occasion.

If there is evidence to the contrary, I would be grateful to be told where to locate it.2
