Birth*Hans Hennsz was born in 1657 in Hamburg, Germany.1
Marriage*He married Anna Maria Holshax on 26 August 1686 de Caep de Goede Hoop.2,1
Duplicate?*It is possible that Hans Carelse van den Burgh and Hans Hennsz are the same individual. I think there is the possibility of a scribal error in this marriage record and that the scribe should have written Hans Carelse. In my view, it is possible Henske and van der Burg(h) are not same individual.

In the reocrds I have consulted thus far, aside from that marriage Henske was always Henske (variants) - and Hans Carel(se) never used Henske on any other occasion.

If there is evidence to the contrary, I would be grateful to be told where to locate it.3
Names in the record, in publications, etc.Hans Hennsz was also known as Hans Heinsii.4
Hans Hennsz was also known as Hans Henske.4
28 September 1698, the name of Hans was written in the record as Hans Hansijn.5
Baptisms - WitnessHans Hennsz and Anna Maria Holshax witnessed the baptism of Rodolf Prijes on 28 September 1698 Nederduitsch Gereformeerde Kerk, Stellenbosch, de Caep de Goede Hoop.6
He potentially witnessed the baptism of Anne Marie Brits on 4 October 1699 Nederduitsch Gereformeerde Kerk, Drakenstein, de Caep de Goede Hoop, this witness has not been positively identified.7
NotesHans Hennsz signed his name both Hennsz and Hennszken.4
