BirthOrigin*Cornelis was from Culemborg and was perhaps born there circa 1640. The date is estimated.1 
Baptisms - WitnessCornelis de Cretser and Anna van der Meer witnessed the baptism of Geertruyda Hol on 22 March 1671 Nederduitsch Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town), de Caep de Goede Hoop.1
Monsterrollen and Opgaafrollen (Muster and tax rolls)On 1 April 1662 Cornelis de Cretser was enumerated in the muster roll, he was recorded as from Cuylenburgh, cadet.2
Slave TransactionsScipio Africanus van de Kust Malabar was hired out by Robert Carus, to Angela van Bengale on 29 March 1668, for a monthly fee of f 5. The parties were to be monitored by the fiscal, Cornelis de Cretser.3,4
