He married Jeanne Néel, daughter of Guillaume Néel and Jeanne de la Batte, on 1 January 1708 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town), de Caep de Goede Hoop.^2,3

Slave Transactions

On 25 February 1699 Siko van de Kust Coromandel was sold by Pieter Pijl to Francois van der Stel, for Rds. 60. I have assumed the seller in this transaction is the same individual who married Jeanne Nel in 1708. Corrections welcome.⁴
